Race engineering

Feel it. Measure it. Prove it.

Fast is only useful when it survives traffic, restarts and tire falloff. The R&D program turns driver feedback into repeatable decisions.

South Boston baseline

Current long-run work focuses on maintaining rotation without spending the right-side tires too early.

01

Smooth hands

Use the minimum steering angle required. Extra wheel creates heat and scrub.

02

Patient throttle

Get the car pointed before asking the rear tires to accelerate it.

03

Controlled testing

One change at a time, repeatable stints and decisions based on averages.

04

Race the whole race

Early pace means nothing if it removes the tools needed late.

Next objective

College grid. National stage.

Melton Racing's next chapter is focused on preparing Kyle Melton to pursue eNASCAR College Series competition while continuing to build a complete, professional race program.
